PSG star hands out food parcels to homeless in Paris ahead of Man City showdown

Moise Kean has prepared for the biggest match of his life by handing out food parcels to the homeless and immigrants in Paris.

The on-loan Everton star will be part of the Paris-Saint Germain squad who will bid to reach the Champions League final at Manchester City on Tuesday.

But on Sunday the Italy international spent time in the Porte de la Chapelle area of the French capital with friends distributing help to the needy.

Kean posted pictures on his Instagram account with the words: “Pushing the pain away.”

Kean, whose parents are from the Ivory Coast, appeared as a late sub in Saturday’s Ligue 1 win over Lens.

He has scored 12 goals in 24 league matches this season.

With Kylian Mbappe facing a late fitness on a calf injury, the Italian could feature in the semi-final second leg on Tuesday where City lead 2-1.

Kean last started in the Champions League in the stunning 4-1 first leg win at Barcelona in February but he contracted COVID-19 in March and he was out for a month.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad were scheduled to fly to Manchester on Monday with midfielder Idrissa Gueye joining the travelling party despite being suspended following his red card in the first game.

Neymar has claimed he is ready to “die on the field” to lead Paris-Saint Germain back to the Champions League final.

Last year’s beaten finalists trail 2-1 to Manchester City before tomorrow night’s second leg at the Etihad Stadium.

And the Brazil superstar, the world’s most expensive player, said: “We had a very difficult first leg against Manchester City, but we have to believe, no matter what the stats say or our percentage chance of winning.

“I think every Parisian has to believe in us! I’m on the front line, and I will be the first warrior who will go into battle for the team. I will give everything and I will do everything to bring this back no matter what, even if I have to die on the field.”

PSG, who dominated the first half of the first leg, need to score at least twice at the Etihad Stadium.

And Italian right-back Alessandro Florenzi told PSGTV: “”If we play like in the first half we can beat them. Of course we have to do it for 90 minutes. And it won’t be easy. But we are, in my opinion, a team capable of getting this kind of result. We will have nothing to lose so we will give everything.

“They have their own strategy which will be to keep the ball, so we will certainly have to press well together and try to move forward with our own tactics.

“But I am really confident for this game. We can really do something good.”
