The Teton County Coroner Dr Brent Blue, is due to discuss the ruling on 22-year-old Gabby Petito’s autopsy on Tuesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, a private investigator has suggested Ms Petito may have been asphyxiated. He came to this conclusion having seen a bodycam video with Utah police, involving Ms Petito and Brian Laundrie.

The parents of Mr Laundrie have been filmed clearing away discarded items left behind by protesters outside their home.

Chris and Roberta Laundrie were spotted on Sunday evening moving white laundry bins that had been left there. A poster with an image of Gabby Petito was also reportedly moved.

A police manhunt for Mr Laundrie remains without leads after a Florida nature reserve was searched, and there is only a 50 per cent chance the missing man is still alive, police have said.

Josh Taylor, the North Port police spokesperson, told CNN that nothing significant linked to Mr Laundrie has been found in the Carlton Reserve, but searches will continue until police receive more information.

It comes as a bounty hunter involved in the search said he was withdrawing from the operation after suffering an ankle injury.

Ex-FBI agent says that it’s likely no new information will be released in press conference

A former FBI agent, Jennifer Coffindaffer, told Brian Entin of News Nation Now that she did not expect details of Gabby Petito’s death to be released after the autopsy.

She said: “Those details are so crucial for the investigation.

“Moreover, say that specific details are released as an example that she was strangled, and later there are witnesses that say they thought they observed perhaps like strangulation – did that come from the coroner’s report and the specifics of that?

“Or was it something they really saw? So, It is very important that those kinds of details are concealed in this type of case.”

Ms Coffindaffer added: “Even in the case of a situation where a killer actually confesses.

“Those details are very important for corroborating their confession.

“Those are typically not released, I would be surprised if any new details come out.”

Teton County Coroner Dr Brent Blue will speak to the media about Ms Petito’s autopsy findings at 12:30pm local time.
